At the end of “Raymond’s Run”, Squeaky had a change of attitude toward Gretchen. This could be because Squeaky had a change of heart, realizing that she doesn’t always have to win and that everything is not a competition. Seeing Raymond run and deciding that she would be his coach also contributed to her having a different attitude.

During the race, Squeaky saw Raymond running to on the other side of the fence. When she finished she was really proud of Raymond and decided that she was going to coach him, and give him a chance of being a runner. Squeaky realized that Gretchen was actually a really good runner and not that bad, and they exchanged smiles at the end.

That’s when she felt different and had a complete different attitude and decided to coach her rival. Also at the end they both look at each other and smiled to each other.
