Algebra

A student scores 83 and 91 on her first 2 tests. Write and solve a compound inequality to find the possible values for a 3rd test score that would giver her an average between 85 and 90 inclusive.

I know she has to score between 81 & 96 but I'm not sure how to show it the proper form.

  1. 3*85 <= 83+91+x <= 3*90
    255 <= 174+x <= 270
    81 <= x <= 96
