Is written language more correct than spoken language?
I kind of think it is because writing can be corrected more sufficiently than oral. But I'm not sure

  1. I don't know how you'd prove a statement like this. I've seen some pretty terrible "writing" on social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and most cannot be corrected once the awful stuff is posted. I've heard some absolutely terrible spoken language, too ... and none can be corrected!

This is an opinion statement, though ... no way to prove one way or the other!!
