1. AC= 3x+6 and CD=2x+14

What will AD be because I'm sooo confused on how to work it out..

    or
    AD = 2(5x-8) = 30-16 = 14

    6x-4 = 8x - 6
    2 x = 2
    x = 1 I get x = 1 not .5
    then
    CD = AC = 4x-3 = 1

    2(3x-1) = 12-x
    6 x - 2 = 12 - x
    7 x = 14
    x = 2 I do not get -3.25
