A mathematical scene with a stylized illustration representing the quotient calculation. Depict an algebraic equation symbolized as shapes. The equation consists of two parts divided by each other. The top part consists of a large square symbol, representing x^2, with a small dash next to it indicating subtraction, followed by a small cube symbolizing 16. This sequence is divided by another series featuring a double shape of squares symbolizing 2x^2, a dash, small shape of circles representing 9x, and then a dash and a small square representing 4. The whole construction is divided by another composed the same way but with different components: two squares, 14 circles and 24 triangles. This secondary construction should lie over a line containing four squares and four circles. Illustrate this in a clean, minimalist design on a neutral background.

What is the quotient?

[(x^2 -16) / (2x^2-9x + 4)] / [(2x^2 + 14x + 24) / (4x + 4)]

The answers to Unit 7 Lesson 2 are D, C, A, B.

you are right with your answers , but the only one that its not correct is, the first question , you said its d but its c .

Thanks Piper, she got me 4/4

Correct!

Piper is 100% correct

Correct piper

CCBBA is still correct for those with five questions!

ccb 2022

2x^2-9x+4 = (2x-1)(x-4)

2x^2+14x+24 = 2(x+4)(x+3)

so, what you have is

(x-4)(x+4) / (2x-1)(x-4) * 4(x+1) / 2(x+4)(x+3)

the x+4 and x-4 cancel, so we have

2(x+1) / (2x-1)(x+3)

CCB working still connexus 2022

CCB still works!!!!
