Students have to choose one to five topping for their sundaes chocolate syrup, peanuts, whipped crime, sprinkles, and cherries. Assuming all toppings are equality likely to be chosen, what is the probability that a student chooses a Sunday with peanuts only?

Total ways to top a sundae: 31

ways with nuts only: 1

I would have said 1/5, but that assumes that the sundae will have only one topping.

But, if all possible ways to pick toppings are included, and equally likely, 1/31 is P(nuts)
