1. In this forum we type powers using the ^ to show exponents

e.g 4x^2 , not 4x2

anyway
1.
4x^2 + 12x + 5 = (2x+1)(2x+5)

2.
2x^2 + x - 3 = (x-1)(2x+3)

3. ok

4.
16x^2 - 16x - 12
= 4(4x^2 - 4x -3)
= 4(2x+1)(2x - 3) which is D)

5.
= 3(x^2 + 7x - 8)
= 3(x+8)(x-1) which is A)

looks like some serious review is needed
