What does "to chased or be chased" mean?

  1. It could be several things. What is the context?

  2. It's merely a question I have been asked: "Is it more fun to chase or be chased?" I believe it is regarding competition as I am supposed to write several paragraphs about my experience and feelings about it.

  3. The first situation that comes to mind is a romantic or flirtatious relationship. Would you rather pursue the object of your affection or would you rather be the one who is pursued?
