Scott...

wouldn't the x be -6?..thanks

use intercepts to graph the line described by each equation:

-6y = -4x + 24

I was told that the x intercept is 6
the y intercept is -4

Can you please explain to me how that's the answer

step by step please (baby steps)

Thank you

the line intercepts the y-axis when x is zero, and vice versa

plugging in zero for x ... y = -4

plugging in zero for y ... x = 6

6(0) = -4 x + 24

0 = - 4 x + 24

-24 = - 4 x

6 = x
