Can police act on information they receive from health inspectors?

  • Criminal Justice -

I don't know why not. Generally, health inspections do not require police enforcement; health departments have their own enforcement rules. But, a tip from anyone can be acted upon by police agencies if a health inspector sees something criminal taking place.
