(I jut this in word form so someone would understand better but can someone please try helping me solve this. I only need help with this 1 problem.)

Evaluate this pricewise function at x=-4 and x=4.
f(x)={x^2, if x less than or equal to -4
{x^3, if -4 less than x less than or equal to1
{square root x, if x greater than 1

f(x)={x^2, if x ≤ -4

{x^3, if -4 < x ≤ 1
{√x, if x > 1

so if x = -4, it belongs to the first function
f(-4) = (-4)^2 = 16

if x = 4, we have the last function
f(4) = √4 = 2

Oh my god!! THANK YOU JESUS!! I have spend a whole day trying to find someone to help me. Thank you so much Reiny!!!

To evaluate the piecewise function at different values of x, we need to substitute the given values of x into the corresponding expressions in the function.

For x = -4:
According to the function, if x ≤ -4, then we use the expression f(x) = x^2.
So, substituting x = -4 into the expression, we get:
f(-4) = (-4)^2 = 16.

For x = 4:
According to the function, if -4 < x ≤ 1, then we use the expression f(x) = x^3.
So, substituting x = 4 into the expression, we get:
f(4) = 4^3 = 64.

Therefore, f(-4) = 16 and f(4) = 64.
