Write an equation in the indicated form for each statement described below.

A. Write an equation in slopeintercept form for the line parallel to the red line and going through the point (3,5).
B. Write an equation in slopeintercept form for the line perpendicular to the blue line and going through the point (4, 0).

A: If the red line has slope m_{1}, then your line is
y5 = m_{1}(x3)
B: If the blue line has slope m_{2} then your line is
y = (1/m_{2})(x+4)
So, use the needed slopes, and massage the equations into the form
y = mx+b
