This is a really weird question but mom in a dilemma. My economics teacher doesn't post our marks online so idk what mark I'm actually at in his class. Can anyone help me figure out what percent I'm at right now if I give the following information ?

He has:
Question cards worth a total of 10%
3 quizzes worth a total of 20%
2 midterms worth 20% each
And a final exam worth 30%

My current marks are:
Question cards:
.5/1, .5/1, and 1/1
1 quiz : 7.5/10
1 midterm : 16/30

So far that's all we have done, can anyone tell me my percent in the class cause I'm really worried at the moment

To calculate your current percentage in the class, we need to determine the contribution of each graded component to your overall grade. Here is the breakdown based on the given information:

Question cards worth a total of 10%: You have completed three question cards, and you received .5/1, .5/1, and 1/1. To calculate the weighted average, you need to find the sum of your scores divided by the total possible score and then multiplied by 10%. The calculation would look like this:

((.5 + .5 + 1) / (1 + 1 + 1)) * 10% = (.5 * 10%) = 5%

Quizzes worth a total of 20%: You have completed one quiz and received a score of 7.5/10. To calculate the weighted average, you divide your score by the total possible score and then multiply by 20%. The calculation would look like this:

(7.5 / 10) * 20% = 75% * 20% = 15%

Midterms worth 20% each: You have completed one midterm and received a score of 16/30. To calculate the weighted average, you divide your score by the total possible score and then multiply by 20%. The calculation would look like this:

(16 / 30) * 20% = 53.33% * 20% = 10.67%

Final exam worth 30%: Since you haven't taken the final exam yet, its contribution to your overall grade is yet to be determined.

To find your current percentage in the class, you add up the weighted averages of all the completed components:

5% (question cards) + 15% (quiz) + 10.67% (midterm) = 30.67%

So, based on the completed components, you currently have a percentage of approximately 30.67% in the class. However, keep in mind that this does not include the final exam's contribution, which is worth 30%. The final exam score will have a significant impact on your overall grade in the class.
