I am a little confused with this:

How do I change 8 1/3% into a fraction?

Can someone explain or show me so I can understand? Thanks

  • Math -

    8 1/3 %
    = 25/3 %
    = (25/3)/100
    = 25/300
    = 1/12

    check:
    1/12 = .083333
    = 8.333...%
    =8 1/3 %
