I agree with 2 and 3. I question your response to the first question. You may be correct in reflecting the study materials provided to you, but Monet's work explored his perceptions of the effect light has on our perception of the world around us, mostly in nature but also in urban settings. He did not seem to address social or political issues, although he certainly depicted the effects of the industrial revolution in his urban subjects.
My thoughts for consideration.
