I am writing a report for marketing and have to create a fictional business. My first business was a clothing store. I need an idea for another business. I was thinking maybe a candy store, or a water ice store. Are they considered retail ? Do you think those would be easy to answer questions about?

My favorite store is a store that sells chocolate. Most of the chocolate is made in that store, using fair trade and organic chocolate. Truffles and bark are their main offerings. The store also sells organic, fair-traded candy bars imported from developing countries.

Thank you for your input!

You're very welcome.

Both a candy store and a water ice store are considered retail businesses.

A candy store specializes in selling various types of candies and related products, while a water ice store focuses on selling flavored frozen desserts. Both of these businesses fall under the retail category because they involve the direct sale of products to customers.

In terms of answering questions for your report, both candy stores and water ice stores could provide interesting topics to explore. Here are some ideas for potential questions:

For a candy store:
1. What are the most popular types of candies?
2. How is candy made?
3. What are the latest trends in the candy industry?
4. How do candy stores create a visually appealing display?
5. What marketing strategies are effective for promoting candy stores?
6. How can a candy store cater to different dietary needs, such as sugar-free or gluten-free options?

For a water ice store:
1. What are the different flavors of water ice?
2. What is the history and origin of water ice?
3. How is water ice different from other frozen desserts, such as ice cream or gelato?
4. What techniques are used to make high-quality water ice?
5. How can water ice stores attract customers during different seasons, such as summer or winter?
6. What marketing techniques can be employed to differentiate a water ice store from competitors?

By researching and exploring these questions, you will be able to gather information and incorporate it into your report, making it more engaging and informative.
