I wanted to double check that I am correct on the work area and answers please.
1.Given f(x)=x+2 and g(x)= 3x4. Find (f+g).
Work: (x+2) + (3x4)
Answer: 4x2
2.Given f(x)=x+2 and g(x)=3x4. Find (f*g).
Work: (x+2)(3x4)
Answer: 3x² +2x8
3.Given f(x)=x+2 and g(x)=3x4. Find (f*g)(x).
Work: f(3x4)= (3x+4)+2
Answer: 3x2
4.Given f(x)=x+2 and g(x)= 3x4. Find (f*g)(1).
Work: g(1)= 3(1)4= 1
F(1)= (1+2)=1
Answer: 1
