Steve traveled the first 2 hours of his journey at 40km/h and the last 3 hours of his journey at 80km/h. What is his average speed of travel for the entire journey?

2 hours = 80 km
3 hours = 240 km
5 hours = 320 km
320 / 5 = ______ km/h
So then would i change 64km/h into meters/seconds

Why is 2 hours equal to 80km

2 hours * 40 km/h = 80 km
Does your problem ask you to change kh/h to m/s?
