Need help doing a test change the test equation y100x=2000can be used to represent monthly salary of a salesman when he sells x computer system what is the salesman monthly salary if he sells no computer

I don't understand why 100x is negative. Wouldn't commission for sales be positive?
If he sells no computers, x = 0.
