n-1/n divided by 1+1/n

  • Trigonometry -

the way you typed it ...

    (n - 1/n) / (1 + 1/n)

remember in fractions, if we multiply top and bottom by the same number, the value of the fraction does not change, so , I will multiply top and bottom by n

    = ( n - 1) / (n + 1)
