***Chemistry!!!!

Carry out the following operations, and express the answer with the appropriate number of significant figures.

1.)[(285.3 multiplied by 105) - (1.500 multiplied by 103)] multiplied by 2.8948

2.) 874 multiplied by [1267 - (3.50 multiplied by 128)]

*I know what significant figures are but I am constantly getting my answers wrong for both questions. Help, please??
