if you dissolve 350 g of K(2)CrO(4)in 2.4 kg of water, what is the molality of the solution?

    Molality is found by dividing the moles of solute (K2CrO4) by the Kg of of solvent (H2O).
    So first convert g K2CrO4 to moles.
    Molecular weight of K2CrO4= 194.19
    So 350g/194.19g= 1.8024 moles.

    Then 1.8024 moles K2CrO4/ 2.4 kg H2O=
    .751 moles/ kg
