Larry and Shamir want to build identical houses. They bought a rectangular piece of land and divided it into two identical squares.Each square piece of land has a area of 2500 meter squared. What is the perimeter of the original rectangle?

    Each square lot is 500 by 500 meters. The rectangle must be 500 by 1000 meters.

    P = 2L + 2W
