help please has to be turned in today don't really understand it. Chief Joseph Surrenders
Compare Chief Joseph's speech with the "Gettysburg Address". Discuss the similarities and differences between them. (Consider the feelings of the speaker, as well as literary devices, etc.)

What qualities of Chief Joseph can you infer from this speech? Write three words that identify the traits you feel he has

    What are the feelings of each man? Isn't one full of hope and the other filled with despair? One side has been defeated in battle; the other has been victorious in battle. Both sides lost many men. The other side lost women and children too.

    I assume you've been studying literary devices so you know what to look for in these two speeches. What about repetition?
