what are the intercepts of y=2x+2

  • Algebra -

    To find the y-intercept, plug in 0 for y and solve for x.
    0=2x+2
    2x=-2
    x=-1
    (0,-1)

    To find the x-intercept, plug in 0 for x and solve for y.
    y=2(0)+2
    y=2
    (2,0)
