On a 30 day calendar which begins on a Wednesday and ends on a Thursday, what is the probability in a random drawing that the date would be a Monday?

  • Algebra -

Look at May 2013 and just forget about the last day.
    That would fit your description.
    Aren't there 4 Mondays?
    so prob(a Monday) = 4/30 = 2/15
