Need for two balanced chemical equations?

I am in need of these two equations which I however do not know how they react. If anyone could help, it is greatly appreciated :)

"Formation of products by heating a solid mixture of calcium propanoate and soda lime"

"Formation of a conjugate acid-base pair by reaction of hydrogen chloride (acting as an acid) with anhydrous ethanoic acid."
