If 300 napkins cost \$1.69 and 100 napkins cost \$.89, what is the least expensive cost for 1010 napkins?

• 5th grade math word problems -

You could buy 4 packages of 300 napkins for 1.69 * 4 = 6.76

Or you could by 3 packs of 300 napkins for 1.69 * 3 = 5.07. Then buy 2 packs of 100 for .89 * 2 = 1.78.
