Determine if the situations represent proportional relationships. Explain.

1. Gina can buy 1 bottle of shampoo for $2.95 or 2 bottles for $4.50.

  • 7th grade math -

    1/2.95 = 2/4.50

    Cross multiply.

    4.50 does not = 5.90

    No, they are not proportional.
