Because/Even though children’s understanding of AIDS increases with age:

A. AIDS education should not be attempted before adolescence.

B. relatively young children can still grasp complex scientific concepts about disease.

C. children in grades K-6 cannot even give a superficially correct explanation of AIDS.

D. young children with HIV are more readily accepted by their classmates than are adolescents

I am choosing C but could it also be D? Please help!
