25mL of tartaric acid solution is titrated against 31mL of NH4OH. What is the normality of the NH4OH? Please explain how to work this problem.

  • chemistry -

You need to know the molarity of the tartaric acid solution.

    mL tar x N tar = mL NH4OH x N NH4OH
Substitute and solve for N NH4OH.
