Would "the flight to cancun" be an anecdote or a memoir?
Would "a day in Canada" be an anecdote or a memoir?

Are these articles you read? Stories? Who wrote them?

I need to write an anecdote, and I was wondering if my story of the flight to cancun , if that was an anecdote, or if a day in canada would be an anecdote.

An anecdote is usually very short -- no more than a paragraph. Memoirs are longer -- usually book-length.

I'm supposed to write a two paragraph anecdote.
