Kiara bought 78 stickers .She bought 6 strips of 10 and some singles How many singles did she buy.? Write an equation for each combination of singles and strips.

    Let x = the number of singles

    6 * 10 + x = 78

    60 + x = 78

    x = 78 - 60

    x = 18

    78-60=18 so the answer is 19
