please explain the method of solving:
37  p = 28 + 4p

37  p = 28 + 4p
We need to get the known quantities on one side of the equation and the unknowns on the other.
Add p to both sides. Subtract 28 from both sides.
37  28 = 5p
9 = 5p
9/5 = p
1 4/5 = p
