what is the lateral area of a regular pyramid with a base 6 and slant height 8?????????????

• math -

find the area of each of the triangles
area = (1/2)base x height
= (1/2)(6)(8) = 24
So you have 4 of these plus the base.

I am assuming that by "slant height" you mean the height of the triangle and not the distance along the edge of the pyramid.
