describe how to prepare a .50 m solution of lead nitrate using only 100.00 mls of water. aslo discribe how to prepare a .50m sloution of sodium iodide using only 100.00 mls of water. explain the differences that exist between these two solutions.

OK i have answers for both
1.you need about 17 grams of lead nitrate
2. you need about 75 grams of sodium iodide
for a solution

how would i describe the differences?

I suspect you haven't read or posted the problem right (of course I could be wrong.) Is that 0.5 molal or 0.5 molar solutions. I THINK the problem is getting at the difference between molar and molal but I'll wait for your answer.
