  • 5 grade math -

    3/6 = 1/2

    3/9 = 1/3

    In both cases I multiplied top and bottom by 1/3

  • 5 grade math -

    3/6 = 1/2 = 2/4 = 6/12

    3/9

    Divide the numerator and the denominator by 3. What do you get?
