Average destance between Earth and the moon is 384 790 km. How many days would it take sound to travel to the moon?

  • physics -

Well, since sound does not travel in a vacuum, I'd say it would take forever.

    Trick question.

Even if not a trick, you'd have to know the density of the air between earth and moon, because sound travels at different speeds in different media.
