If a rope is 24cm long and a stone whirled at the end make 13 complete revolution in 42 seconds. Find the angular velocity, the linear speed and the covered distance in 8 seconds.

Henry
C = pi*2r = 3.14 * 48 = 150.8cm = 1.51m
= Circumference of circle formed.
1. V = (13rev / 42s.) * 6.28rad/rev = 1.94rad/s. = Angular velocity.
2. Rate=(13rev / 42s) * 1.51m/rev = 0.467m/s. = Linear speed.
3. d = r*t = 0.467m/s * 8s = 3.74m
