A car moving 17 m/s slows down at a uniform rate of 2.6 m/s2. How
far does the car travel in 3.3 seconds?

    Just plug and chug with the good old formula:

    s = Vo*t - 1/2 at^2

    s = 17t - 1.3t^2
    = 17*3.3 - 1.3*3.3^2 = 41.9m
