Jack is riding his bike 65 miles in on an 8 hour ride. He is riding up Mt. Hood, which is 11,249 feet. How many feet will Jack travel today?

65 * 5,280 = 343,200 feet

Sorry, Ms. Sue, but that is not the correct answer. Somehow the answer comes out to 5100 feet.

I need the calculation steps
