Determine whether 14 is a solution of the equation 6(x  2)= 70

6(x2)=70
6*x6*2=70
6x12=70
6x=70+12
6x=82 Divide with 6
x=82/6
x=(78+4)/6
x=78/6 + 4/6
x=13 + 2/3
x=13.6666666666
