on tuesday stock As price fell -0.56 and stock Bs price fell -0.50. Stock Cs price did not fall as much as stock As, but it fell more than stock Bs.What is a reasonable answer for how much stock Cs price fell? Explain.

  • math -

If you say the stock fell x cents, you should have to put a minus sign in front of the number.

53 cents would be a reasonable price decline for stock C, but it could be other numbers between 50 and 56 cents also.

  • math (correction) -

If you say the stock fell x cents, you should NOT have to put a minus sign in front of the number.
51, 52, 53, 54 or 55 cents fall in price are all reasonable answers.
