A flower pot falls off a window ledge 10.0 m above the ground. Its velocity as it hits the ground is

  • physical science -

    v = g t

    10 = (1/2) g t^2
    t^2 = 20/9.8
    t = 1.43 seconds to fall
    so
    v = 9.8 *1.43 = 14 meters/ second
