explain how you rounded 6.987 to the nearest tenth.

    8 is larger than 4, so you need to round the 9 up.

    6.987 = 7.0

  • 5th grade math -

    the 8 goes up and the 7 goes up so 6.987 is rounded to 7.00.I know that alot of people just want to know the answer..!
