$29/kg = how many cents/ g???? im really confused

  • pre algebra -

    A kilogram contains 1000 grams.

    Cross multiply and solve for x.

    29/1000 = x/1
    1000x = 29
    x = 29/1000
    x = 0.029 (almost 3 cents)
