Why was the vacuum packed canning process invented?

It's your turn, now. Why do YOU think this process was invented?

So that food would be fresh instead of it being spoiled or rotten?

Right. It wouldn't be "fresh," but it wouldn't be spoiled or rotten.

oh. but i don't know what else to say. I need to write at least 5 sentences and all i have is: The vacuum packed canning process was invented so that the food at that time would be fresh. If the invention wasn't invented food wouldn't be fresh. It is beneficial for everyone.

Before the invention of the vacuum canning process, people could only have fresh foods when they had just been harvested. They salted their meat or pickled the meat and vegetables so that they would keep over the winter. The canning process gave them a wider variety of better tasting meat, fruit, and vegetables in the winter.

that sounds like a good paragraph. thank you!

You're very welcome.
