A car starts from rest accelerates with a constant acceleration of 1.5 m/s squared. HOw far does the car move in 4 seconds?

  • physics -

    x = (1/2) a t^2

    (1/2) * 1.5 * 16 = ___ m

    That is low acceleeration for a car:
    0 to 60 mph in 17.8 seconds. That is why you will get a rather short distance travelled in 4 seconds.

    12m
