B. remained about the same
C. doubled
D. quadrupled

I'm unsure which choice to choose? helpp

    The productivity certainly increased in that century. Farmers went from plowing with horses or oxen and steel plows to using motorized tractors and other equipment.

    However, I don't know if it doubled or quadrupled. I'm sure that information is in your text materials.
