Ashley and Nick worked on a math project together. Ashley finished 1/6 of the project and Nick finished 2/8 of the project. How much more of the project is left?

A: 3/4 B: 7/12 C: 5/6 D: 7/24

My answer: I think it's 7/12 but i'm not sure.

1/6 = 2/12
2/8 = 1/4 = 3/12
2/12 + 3/12 = 5/12

12/12 - 5/12 = 7/12

You're right.
